1. Security Deposit
Security damage deposit is $500 and is fully refundable ( after 7-10 business days ) less any damage, loss of equipment, extra cleaning, or refueling.
A deposit is made at the checkout of your booking.
Full Payment for your rental charges is due upon BOOKING of the vehicle.
This must be paid in U.S. Dollars by Cash, Paypal, or Credit Card (MasterCard, Visa, American Express, or Discover).
Payment-purchased credit cards must be present at check-in.
Sorry, no personal checks; travelers’ checks, or Diners cards can be accepted.
There will be NO REFUNDS for missed days, last-minute time changes, late pick up, or early return.
3. Cancellation Policy
30 days – Prior to check-in date – Full refund minus service & processing fees.
14 days – Prior to check-in date – 50% refund minus service & processing fees.
Less than 14 days – Prior to check-in date – No refund.
All refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days from booked departure date.
4. Driving License/Driving Age
. All campervans are equipped only with 2 front seats & 2 seat bells. No 3rd passenger is allowed.
. All drivers must possess a driver’s license valid for the entire rental period as well as a major credit card.
. An international driver’s license is recommended for foreign tourists.
The minimum renting age is 25. You must provide us with your own auto insurance with full coverage (liability, comprehensive, and collision).
. Only drivers listed on the contract are allowed to drive. All drivers and their driver’s licenses must be present at the time of vehicle pick-up. “NO exceptions “
. Evidence of an unauthorized and/or underage 3rd passenger in the vehicle, contract/agreement will be immediately terminated without refund & loss of rental.
5. Vehicle Airport Delivery Service – Pickup and Drop off
We are located about 29 miles from the Kahului airport, 50 minutes drive to our location, at Address: 132 papalaua street #781, Lahaina, HI 96761, United States
IMPORTANT NOTE: We do OFFER airport vehicle delivery service for $55 each way.

Check-in: 3 pm to 8 pm
Check out: 11 am PLEASE NOTE: late check-out will be subjected to a $5 per minute late fee.
You may make arrangements with Vanlife Maui for a late checkout at the time of booking.
6. Hours of Operation
Vanlife Maui’s office hours of operation are from 8 am – 10 pm ( Local Time ) 365 days open rain or snow 😉
7. Travel Restricted Areas
These campervans are not 4-wheel drive. PLEASE DO NOT TREAT THEM THAT WAY
. Smoking is not allowed inside vehicles.
. Towing of anything is prohibited at all times.
. No climbing on the roof of the vehicle.
. Pets are not allowed inside the vehicles.
. Evidence of smoking and/or pets is subject to a minimum of a $200 surcharge.
. Evidence of an unauthorized 3rd passenger in the vehicle, the contract/agreement will be immediately terminated without refund & with loss of rental.
You must provide your own auto insurance coverage that covers rentals & full coverage (liability, comprehensive, and collision).
You will need to provide us with your insurance policy/information prior to your arrival for the rental so we can verify the coverage.
9 a. If for any reason damages cause service downtime, you will be liable for the days the campervan is out of service.
3/4 days minimum.
If your booking dates ARE NOT AVAILABLE please contact us. We may be able to accommodate.

2 – REMINDER: Please book the day you pick up the campervan after 3 pm to the date you drop off the campervan by 11 am “.

When the refrigerator is rented from Vanlife Maui, loss or damage will be deducted from your security deposit depending on the expertise.
12. EXTRA CHARGES
If the amount of the security deposit is insufficient to satisfy ALL amounts due then the Guests agree to pay all charges in excess, either by personal check or authorized use of the credit card provided.
13. Breach of Contract
Vanlife Maui is not responsible for breach of contract due to/caused by local fire, blizzard, pandemic, hurricane, tsunami, or natural catastrophe.
